GALLERY NUCLEUS "SWEET STREETS 2" SEPT.11 2010 7-11pm
Below is a piece I did for the upcoming Gallery Nucleus "Sweet Street" show. The show consists of 70 artist all celebrating the Harajuku kids of Tokyo Japan.
...He was my inspiration. I loved the hair and the body attitude of this guy. I took some liberties with the scarf color because I did not want to make him solid black.

This is how the piece is cropped. He is in a black frame with a light gray mat.

This looks awesome!!
Great job! The leather jacket turned out especially well, is it just glossy card?
Thanks guys!
Eimhin, I had some glossy black paper and started playing around with scrunching it up to try to create a cracked leather effect. It is challenging to layer black so I tried to use a variety of black paper in the piece.
