more Dogs

The inspiration:

This was my Valentines Day gift to my husband. I made cut outs of our beloved dogs Humphery (a Patch Beagle) and Janie (a Fox Terrier mix).

Hola Megan!

I haven't been by in forever. Your work continues to awe and amaze me as it grows more and more complicated and detailed. Congrats on all the new projects and press. YOU ROCK!

I just saw the Redmonds at Easter. The boys are growing up so fast, but still just as fun, funny and rambunctious as ever! Court is doing well, too. She found a less stressful, less travel-requiring job. :D I have a few photos from the weekend on my MySpace profile. If you are on MySpace search my name.

I love you and give my love to Shannon and your dad, too.

All my love, Kelly

This blog is fantastic. What a cool media to sculpt with. Really inspiring work and any wedding that has Darth Vader had to be fun!

Hi Megan!
I have to say: you're sculptures are a continued source of inspiration and amazingness.
Myself and a friend are currently well underway on a cartoon, being produced by Barley Films in Ireland, with all the characters and backdrops made of cardboard, tinfoil, acetates and crepe paper.
I just want to thank you for blazing the trail!

Hey Eimhin, I lived in Dublin for a year and never heard the name Eimhin. Loads of Eamonn's and Fiona's. I just watched 3 episodes of Father Ted tonight and got my Irish fix.
Thank you for your lovely comments! What is the progress with your film? I'd love to know. I'm no trail blazer. I was very inspired by the paper animation Disney Studios was making in the 50's. You must look at it. It was done ENTIRELY in stop motion which is mind blowing.

Hey Stephanie,
I found the picture that was the inspiration for the piece, and as you can see, in reality they are much cuter then my sloppy cut outs. (uggh... I've become that annoying pet owner.)

Heya Megan, that's no problem, doing what I can to spread the name into the greater world.
Ah I know the old X Atencio jiggies, but the thing about trail blazing is that you gotta keep the flames burning.
We finished the film and strange as it all is it somehow got picked up for a Directors Guild of America screening last september, preceding the presentation of our fellow Irishman Tom Moore's Secret of Kells feature film.
We bounded across the atlantic and had a bit of a tour of the west-coast, even having dinner with a cohort of your Mr. Tindle's: Mr. Prigmore (who has a copy of our short come to think of it)
You can catch a clip of here:
