Red Fox
This little fox is a work in progress. I do this sometimes. I'll make one part of the sculpture and put it aside until I get an idea for the environment to put it in. I'm leaning towards a forest. I'd better start cutting some trees.

You certainly do gorgeous work...Bob Winquist would die to see it. I think you can't have had Bob--am I right? If not, you really missed each other; he taught paper sculpture at Chouinard--but if you do know him I needn't tell you that. ; )
Anyway, back to the point: beautiful!

Hello Megan!Your work is awsome.Can you please advise me on some books where I can learn about this? I'm interested in all sorts of paper uses to create illustration and sculpture.I will attend an origami workshop next friday for example.I do collage with magazine paper but this kind of work is so delicate and unique.I hope that you don't mind my request.I don't mean to copy you or anything.I don't even know if I can cut with such beauty!Anway congrats!!

Hello Magan, I just saw your stuff on Character Design, and I just loved it. The fox is great. My favorite are the three buildings, the unicorn and the geisha. I had an idea for a project with geisha; and this would be perfect for it!
